Photography is the art of reproducing photos of folks, objects or places in their actual likeness. These photographs can be transferred on any photosensitive material. The spine of photography is the camera, the instrument or device that works on the theory of optics. The camera and photographic strategies have experienced remarkable changes since the time the 1st camera was made.

The earlier model did not contain the film ; instead, it was regarded as having a little light-shield box with lens and translucent screen on either side. The image that traveled thru the lens was stored on the screen. Known as 'camera obscura,' it was less than a sketching device for artists. Then the scientists discovered the standard of silver nitrate that changes its color when exposed to light.

This was the start of photogram, a technique of making permanent photographs. They'd place objects on the paper dipped in silver nitrate and reveal it to the daylight. After sometime the area covered under the object stayed white while the remainder of the space turned black. However, the image formed was transient, so that the methodology failed to last long. Over the centuries, the guidelines, the strategy and the material employed in photography went thru many changes.

Modern photography has given a fully new meaning to the complete perception of life and privacy. Photography has made it feasible to capture and preserve special moments, in non-public and in public life. History became more authentic with photos, and pictures served as proof in numerous cases. - Aerial photography is the art of taking photos from the air.
